Change | It Isn’t Easy

It is not easy to try to change your life. It is also hard to change someone else’s. What has surprised me is that many people are open to improving their lives through change. Don’t be afraid to dispense a small dose of Hope, Inspiration, Courage, Comfort, and Love To those who could use it. You may be surprised at the...

Relationships | Consider the Feelings of Others

As we interact with others, it is important to consider their feelings as well as listen to their words. People who are filled up with themselves, and don’t consider the feelings of others, do not establish long and active relationships with anyone. They are thought of as brash, presumptuous, and tactless! Relationships are important, and feelings play a big part in establishing them. Be sure feelings are part of your...

Love | We All Need to Know We Are Loved

They are not! The good news is that I hear younger people using, “Love, Love Ya, All My Love,” seemingly all the time. Who says we aren’t making progress! This blog, I hope, will be a reminder that we all need to know that we are...

While I have received much appreciation for my 4 years in the military service, I am one who is appreciative of what the service did for me. I got to spend three years in Europe with the US Air Force during the early 50’s.  If there was ever appreciation time, that was it. The dollar to the German mark was 4.20.  Gasoline was $.15 a gallon. Yes, the decimal point is correctly placed.  The rest and recreation centers in Garmisch were $.75 cents a night and you could eat out in one of Wiesbaden’s best restaurants for $1.50. I think many veterans feel appreciative and thankful of acquiring many skills that lasted a lifetime while they were serving their...
